1. How do I create an advert with LettingsWorldWide?
We provide holiday homeowners with a means to increase their holiday rental income through effective advertising online at a market leading price. Almost all of the advertisers on our site are private owners who let out their property. They receive booking enquiries from our site either directly to themselves or to their representative/agent who is managing their property.

There are no fees from commissions to worry about - just the small annual advertising fee.

We are currently the best value in the market place, a small yearly charge and a huge market presence. Each advert gets a full colour page advertisement for their property, together with slots for up to 6 colour photos and a contact form so that booking enquiries can be forwarded to them directly by email.

Advertisers can also display other contact information such as name & telephone number and a link to their own website. If you don’t have your own website, then contact us and we can build you a website for a lot less than you would think.

All properties are added to our website search facilities, holidaymakers can then browse and find homes to rent. We also obtain internet traffic to each property advert page. This comes directly from the major search engines with which we have excellent coverage. We will also be launching marketing campaigns within the holiday industry, along with adverts in some of the biggest property supplements newspapers/magazines around.

Advertisers are also provided with a user account and can choose their own password so they can make changes to their advert page whenever they want and as often as they want.Advertisers pay just £89.00 per annum for their full-page advertisement and account features. This includes 6 photos and use of the Availability Calendar.

There are no extra fees or commissions payable - aside from the renewal payment to continue your advertisement for another year after 12 months. We pride ourselves on offering the best service to our customers. If you select 'Register Here' on the My Portfolio page. Fill in your email address and a secure password, then enter your details. You will receive an email confirming your user Id and Password. To add your property, just Select 'add a new property' from your account section on the left hand side on the screen (on My Portfolio Page).

This will present you with the 4 stages of adding a property, just complete each section and click the button to move to the next section. You can add one photo in section 4, once you have made your payment and have selected to make this property live on our website. You can add a further 5 photos once your property is listed and you can amend any information in your advert.

2. Adding Photos
If you don’t have means to upload photos to a computer, then contact us and we will provide you with assistance and can arrange for you to post your photos and we can scan them in for you.

How should my photos be configured for the best results? Your Photos should be no larger than 2MB and if possible 800 by 600. You can normally edit your images on your computer using image software such as Paint, Paint Shop Pro or PhotoShop. If you don’t have this software, we can advise you on a number of free applications that you can download that will complete this task for you. If you struggle to sort your photos into this format you can email them to us at: info@Lettingsworldwide.com

Can I change the photos on my page at a later stage and/or add more?
You can logon to My Portfolio page at ant time and make amendments from your account section on the left hand side of the screen. When editing Photos, there are 6 boxes to display your photos in and 6 boxes below to upload your new or amended photos into. These boxes relate to each other, so if you wish to amend photo number 2, add a photo to box number 2 and then click "change Image" to the right of the box, this will then upload that photo, you will need to do that on each of the six boxes, one at a time if you wish to amend all 6 photos.Do you have any tips on what photos to display and how to present them?

The first of the photos (top left) is also displayed on the search results page as a small thumbnail image representing your property so we recommend picking the best photo for this position. External shots work especially well here. Also take a look at the photos that you are using.

Are they selling your property to its best ability? Do you have a good mix of internal and external photographs are they attractive and well-lit? Holidaymakers like to see what the interior looks like before even thinking of committing to a booking.

3. Managing your Portfolio?
When you register with LettingsWorldWide.com you are given an user name (email address) and password. You can then use these at any point to logon to your account (via the My Portfolio Page) to add properties, change details, add/replace photos, pay.

Are payments I make secure and do you store my payment card details? Yes all payment are made via a secure website. This means we are able to accept payment online by debit/credit card for most of the world's best-known cards.

We do not store your payment details on our website. We also accept payments by Paypal.When you make a payment you will be automatically taken to Paypal's secure payment website, from here you will have the option to pay via the following methods, Credit Card, Switch Card or Paypal. For the 1st two options, select the option on the left of the screen, that’s says "im not a paypal member" this will then let you enter your details and allow you to pay via Switch or Credit card.

You must select this option even if you have a Paypal account or else you wont be able to pay using your cards. If you wish to pay using your Paypal account, then just complete your Paypal details on the right hand side of the screen. You will not be charged for making payments by any of these methods.Do you offer any premium advertising on your site to increase my property's exposure? We do offer Featured Property slots on our web pages. We also offer Golf, Beaches and skiing featured section, these will incur a small extra charge, but will get you valuable extra exposure.

These sections will appear on the home page of the website as well as on other pages randomly. If you are interested in adding one of your properties to these then this can be done from My Portfolio page or contact us for more details.

How can I improve the performance of my adverts? There are many things you may be able to do to increase the effectiveness:

How much information have you provided on your page? We recommend including as much information about your property and the area as possible. If you mention windsurfing or golf, people looking for these activities are more likely to be given a link to your page from the search engines it is registered with.

The more words on your page the more content that gets registered with the search engines for your page. Be sure to include all the words and phrases that you think potential visitors to your property may search for on the web.

How well are you selling the best features of your property? Remember the objective of your page is to sell your property - don't miss off any important attractions or features of your home. Make good use of the 'Short description' field when completing your property details page. This field is shown to holidaymakers on the search results pages when they are deciding which properties to look at in more detail. Is your property appropriately priced?

Take a look at other similar properties on this and other sites to see that you are not overcharging.

Do you provide sufficient information to your visitors? Specifically pricing, availability notes, facilities, directions of how to get there. If there is an easy way to get to your area such as a cheap airline provider then tell people who they are and any useful information. Often if you don't answer visitors' questions they don't bother writing to ask, they just move on to another property that does. It is important that you have listed the correct town and region spellings on your property page, as these will affect what traffic your advert attracts from the search engines we register your pages with.

Take a look at the 'Search by destination' page to see how other advertisers in a similar location have listed their property. If most holidaymakers don't know the name of your town but you are on the outskirts of a far more renowned town perhaps it would be best to list it under this location.

4.General Information:
We don’t charge any commission on sales, we just charge a small annual fee of £89 for your 1st property and then we charge just £50 for any additional properties you may wish to list. There is also a small charge if you wish to advertise your property in the featured property section on the Home page, and a small charge for adding your property into the specialist Golfing, Skiing and Activity sections, the prices for these are all displayed in My Portfolio section.

If you have forgotten your password, just go to My Portfolio Page and click the blue text "Forgotten Password" next to the password box, enter your email address and we will email you your details again.Once you have completed your advert and made your payment, you will be returned to Lettings Worldwide Website and your property will be live within the hour, generally it will be available within a few minutes.

5. Technical Troubleshooting:
When you attempt to upload a photo to the site it always seems to time-out. If this happens you are probably trying to add photos that are too big for the speed of your internet connection.

You ideally need to use an image editor to resize you images to just 800 pixels across and 600 pixels high. Failing this you may need to try to email it to us at: info@Lettingsworldwide.com
